One of the UK’s most successful bands of recent years, Scouting For Girls, will be taking the stage in Llandudno for a special performance. The band will play a selection of their greatest hits in a bid to secure the future of Llandudno Football Club.
The highly-anticipated gig will take place at the Club’s OPS Wind Arena on Saturday, 10th June. With 70 festivals under their belt in 2022 alone, sold-out venues across the nation, and nominations for Brit and Ivor Novello awards since forming in 2005, the band has enjoyed considerable success. They’ve achieved eight top 40 singles, sold more than 2 million records, and amassed over 500 million streams.
The concert, dubbed ‘Llandudno Live‘, will feature several rising artists alongside the popular London pop band, offering much-needed support to the club.
In October 2022, sections of the club’s 3G pitch were deemed unsuitable for use by Welsh football, which severely impacted the club’s operations and shortened the pitch’s lifespan by three years. The increased cost of living has made replacing the pitch unaffordable for the community club.
This event offers the chance to save the club and preserve its essential work for numerous young people and children across the town and North Wales.
This pop-rock band’s debut album sold over 2 million copies, and they’ve had eight top 40 singles throughout the years. They’ll have everyone dancing and singing along, providing the perfect finale to a truly spectacular day for the whole family.
Tickets can be purchased online now, starting at £30.00 for adults. General sale tickets, VIP tickets, and family package deals are also on offer, here. Fans are advised against buying tickets from secondary ticket sites, as inflated prices and invalid tickets will not be accepted for entry to the event.
