On 31st July 1902 the first car moved off from Victoria Station, to the sound of the town band playing "God save the King" and today it is still the only cable-hauled tramway still operating on British public roads.
At the Halfway Station exhibition, discover the fascinating funicular tramway - then enjoy the spectacular ride to the Great Orme summit at 679ft.
